Who are you as a Woman?

As women, we are always challenged in understanding where we are to understand whom we are; I ask you today to put yourself on the other side of this question and get the answer. 

WHO ARE YOU AS A WOMAN?

In my B.A.D. Queens of the Round-Table group, I continuously ask the women what they bring to the table? The table of business? The family table? or even ministry..what do YOU bring to the table? 

What do you think about yourself that allows you to be EVERY WOMAN in and around your life? 

I watched Unsung Hollywood with a special on Meagan Good and I was intrigued by her ups and downs in life. I was especially intrigued by her recent marriage to Minister Devon Franklin. Not that he's a minister, but, from her story, she finally received her blessed relationship. 

Nonetheless, the questions isn't to determine your lack of self worth or how much you value you; it is to take inventory of what you think. 

Make a list of your trials and triumphs. 

In that list what are you really proud of FIRST, then make a list of the things you can deal without. 

Each list makes you whom you are however good or bad it is; don't take anything for granted. 

When you look at what you don't like, ask yourself what was going on in your life causing the negative outcome. If things have changed make note of what you did that caused the positive change; if it has not changed ask yourself what do you need deliverance from. 

Who you are is very important to your future as well as those around you! Make note. Get help (deliverance) and move forward!! 

Personal Challenges that help BUILD BUSINESS

We are halfway through the month of February and I feel like I'm hustling to get through month end.

In some ways, I am.

My month end for business is everyday I don't make money. I get up every morning with the intent on making some kind of dollars and SENSE to motivate me for the next day.

SOMETIMES THAT DOESN'T ALWAYS HAPPEN.

On February 12, 2016, I created a personal challenge to take me over the edge.

I can't give you specifics of the challenge, but I can say this:

WHEN YOU WANT BAD BILLIONAIRE STATUS you WILL LOSE SLEEP, STAY IN PRAYER AND FORGET THE HATERS.

Ways to be B.A.D. #29: Take Risks

When you know that you need something in life, you have to understand that waiting on the mailman or anyone ELSE, is not getting ready for a positive end result. In order to take risks, you have to be willing to step out (sometimes out of the house), to do this.

A B.A.D person, we know, is BLESSED, ANOINTED AND DESTINED, but to be this BAD person, without any pause in life, is to press when you dont' want to press. Everyday, I look at my life and see how I can do things better than I have. I look at how to step out and take risks.

This picture shows stormy skies, not just cloudy, but STORMY SKIES, and a sign that says risks ahead. This is the epitome of what needs to be done regardless of what everything else looks like.The hurricanes of life will still go on, but the RISKS must be done.

As a business and lifestyle coach, I tell everyone to use their resources when building business. This means use what you have even though you dont' have any money, or you don't have any help/support.

Risks are not about looking foolish; who cares if you look foolish? Risks about ENCOURAGING SELF!

Ways to be B.A.D. 28: Remember, its not Religion, its RELATIONSHIP

This is real simple! The closer you get to God, that better your chances of understanding all the bad things that happen in your life.

What I mean is, before you go FALLING OFF THE CLIFF, because every thing is going wrong, you will go to the word of God. Why? How? The Holy Spirit within you will guide you in that direction. The many pieces of revelation in the Bible, far outweigh the issues you have in your life.

Look at what you know to be WRONG RIGHT NOW; what have you done to clear that up? What have you done to get an understanding of how you MAY be at fault?

I have had many experiences in this thing called life, and I'll tell you that I don't know how I God thought so much of me all those years I was under religion and not relationship. With relationship, I can walk with God continuously and not be worried. With relationship I am encouraged to do what is necessary for what even though it seems strange to others.

Religion tells me to do what has been structured in books, not in spirit. I want my end result to be because my ears to hear and eyes to see were strictly because of the RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Ways to be B.A.D. #27: Don't Carry a Spirit of Fear

The Bible tells us that God didn't give us a spirit of fear. Okay, the end...


Well not exactly the end; see we shouldn't fear man, what they like and don't like, and what they say, but we should fear the LORD AND WHAT HE CAN DO. So, we shouldn't walk or carry the spirit of fear for the things, or people, of this world, but we should have so much fear of God that we press on.

What do I mean?

I mean you better be so scared of what the Lord will do that you will obey no matter the cost of any relationship. You better be so scared of God that even if people don't like you, you will keep doing what He said do.

The process is hard and trying, but is still better for you than it is if you don't adhere to the process. Being afraid in this process can also mean endure; enduring til the end.

Let us say it together, I will endure because I'm afraid of the Lord and what He'll do if I don't.

Ways to be B.A.D #26: Dont' believe the Hype!

I teach women how to be save money, and build business. When they are realize that they don't have to do what everyone else days, the money they invest in me to help them gives them a great return. The problem in some cases, is that most of my clients want to believe the hype in building a business instead of doing the work.

Yes ladies, I'm talking to all of you that have your own business or are in direct sales.

You have to decide that you can't become a millionaire by just starting a business or joining a great direct sales company. You have to do the work to become that millionaire. You have to market, and sell.

The worst thing someone can tell you in joining their business is that you can make money with little effort. No, that's  a lie and that's hype to get you in their game. It takes much effort to do what is necessary. For instance, I'm an Avon rep as well as a Send out Cards Distributor. In order for me to make money, I have to put out catalogs and share my website link (for both businesses). and pray someone clicks and  orders. Yet it doesn't stop there.

Multi-level marketing companies try to get you to believe the million dollar hype, without telling you what work there is to put in; they want your investment first.

Same thing in relationships.

I know a man that stated we all send out the representative first in building relationships, not the real person. The real person shows up later. If it's too good to be true, don't fall for it. BUSINESS OR LIFE, don't take a chance in believing the hype.

Ways to be B.A.D. #25: Don't Believe the Lies

Every day there is something new coming out to take on or take down the desires of your heart. Someone wants to tell you that you can't be successful or you can't have a business; someone is telling you that you cant' have the desires of your heart, but you can.

Don't believe the lies.



A lie can cause you to be oppressed, then depressed, and not focusing on what you need to grow or obtain that breakthrough. Anything negative is a lie. Anything not pushing towards pursuing your dream is a lie.


DON'T STAND FOR IT; actually DON'T SIT FOR IT. A lie will have you sitting down on your dreams.

Stand up and call the liars a liar to their face, and prove them wrong. You don't have to tell them you'll prove them wrong, just DO IT!!

I have had many people tell me what I couldn't do; I settled and allowed myself to be a victim. I refuse to be that victim ever again. I lost years from life and and building my business because of the negativity and the lies. I set off to prove them wrong.

Set off to prove them wrong. I have you back!

Start rewriting every negative statement into a positive statement and read it over and over each day.

Ways to be B.A.D. #23: You are a Queen

Ladies, never under estimate your true potential in the lives of those around you, and YOU! You are a queen. I have a charm on one of my necklaces that I have had for years, and it says black princess, but I'm a queen. I keep it because it was one of the things that reminded me of my worth. ONCE YOU CAN GRASP ON TO ONE THING, you can go higher

BUT WE ARE ALL QUEENS. Even as mothers, we hold our heads high; we tackle more things than men do because we hold ourselves at a HIGHER STANDARD, and get through, when it seems like we cant' even get TO!
.



You are #BAD, because you are  #QUEEN.


 Consider Hadassah who became Esther, but not only Esther, but QUEEN ESTHER. She remembered her faith, respected herself, her heritage and her husband. He revered her and LOVED ON HER LIKE WE ALL WANT OUR HUSBANDS TO LOVE ON US.

Ways to be B.A.D #21: Impact Others

Oh this is hard to share sometimes. Why? Because most people only want to impact what is happening in their own homes. They don't want to do what is necessary for everyone just the people that are closest to them.

That is not IMPACTING OTHERS.

When I consider who I am in ministry and in business, I know that what I say and do will impact others, regardless of how they make reference to me. I know that people don't like what I say, or even how i say it, but it helps them.

Will they be honest about the IMPACT?  No. Is that okay with me? Yes. I am fulfilling an assignment. I can't step back or decide not to be obedient. What is wrong with the world when we feel like because I'm hurt, I don't want to complete my task at hand? Saints don't have that choice.

So, IMPACT OTHERS.

Remember the post on don't bury your talents? This is why; you have to use those talents to impact the lives of others. Does it always happen in your house. No. It happens with everyone who is connected to you.

Get on ladies! YOU ARE READY FOR THIS.

Ways to be B.A.D. #20: Endure til the End

When you wake up in the morning, sometimes the first thing on your mind are the problems of yesterday. Let me share this with you: IF GOD WOKE YOU UP TODAY, HE MEANT TO GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY THAN YESTERDAY.

What is the problem right now? Look at what you want out of life, and ask yourself what is holding you back?

You're tired and you don't want to keep battling this problems. At what point do you trust God and say I'm not having it any more? It's not that you are not having it, it is YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THROUGH IT. You must endure til the end.

There is a lot of patience being built in you when you endure. Yes, I know it is hard, and YES, I know that, as women, we want to be in total control of everything, but WE CAN'T.  We have to suffer through. When I tell you that I know God has a plan for me and for you, I know that the plan entails going through. 

Remember we can't get our breakthrough without going through.

Ways to be B.A.D #19: Do Not Bury Your Talents

There comes a time where you will have to do what is necessary, but not logical. Every time I talk to one of my men-tees, or those that are part of my assignment, I let them know that God gives us something to build on and share with others. When you don't use what you are supposed to, you are basically burying your talents.

Take for example for your life the scripture about the 10 talents; Matthew 25: 14-30. Of all the talents that were given out, there was one that buried his out of fear. Fear of the unknown. We all go through that point in our lives where we know that we have something good, but because of fear, we don't move into that GREATER DESTINY.

Destiny. Your destiny. Your talents

God didn't give us a spirit of fear. Why do we find it so easy to walk in what is unnecessary and prohibiting our growth? You ahve to be so determined for greater that you will walk SCARED. I remember the words someone said to me once, that I keep in my mind: we have to have so much fear that we will move.

Why hesitate? Don't bury your talents. d

There is someone waiting on you to do what GOD SAID, but they can't move because you haven't moved.

I sit here in my office today and I look at two buildings I should have in my possession right  now and I don't. I was too scared to make the calls that would give me the opportunity to have those buildings.

No more fear. If you know you buried those talents, DIG THEM UP!!

Ways to be B.A.D. #18: Motivate the people around you

In the past few days, I have read an article about how to be a millionaire quickly. Well being a millionaire is up my ally, but being a billionaire is  my vision and action plan.

Nonetheless, what I read had me in such awe of who I am that I knew the article was for me, and for you this day.

I work hard to motivate the people around me; not just in my coaching but also in their lives spiritually. I have tried to help people catapult them into better and greatness, but not everyone was ready for the real deal. Either way, I can't give up.

This is what I am sharing with you: MOTIVATE THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU.

Encourage them to be more than their eyes can see right now. Motivate them to know that whatever is happening negatively in their lives is not where they will end up. I have motivated others, even while going through in my own life; the purpose is to help them.

  

There are times you will want to just shut yourself down; the times when people will pull on you for a shoulder to cry on. Give them your shoulder, and watch God give you the necessary strength to help them.

Ways to be B.A.D. #15: Stay in the Race

No matter what the world looks like; no matter what trials you come across in your life; NO MATTER WHAT THE WHAT IS, stay in the race.


Just like this actor in a move, when the trouble comes you might have to jump the ship you're on, but you not out of the race. 

Your life is an endless, narrow road. The road for the best results in this life and the next is going to be narrow and rough. The problem you have right now, is wondering if you should stay on this road; in this race.

Most people want the easy life, so they stay with the devil, and play his games, but the easy way DOES END. The Bible says we must endure to the end, which means IT AINT EASY.

In order to stay in this race, you better be ready for all that life throws at you. Remember you want the best in heaven, not suffering in hell!

Ways to be B.A.D # 11: Realize Your Worth

God said we are fearfully and wonderfully made. If that is so, we are worth more than we THINK WE ARE. As a matter of fact the word also says that we are WORTH MORE THAN RUBIES.




There is nothing wrong with knowing that you are valuable. How will you walk out how valuable you are? Are you ready to accept your worth?

Ladies, we have to be refined and smoothed out, but that doesn't change that you are expensive. You are so expensive, no one can afford you, but God will send someone to honor you, to respect you, and to value you. You are not just a diamond in the rough, you are a ruby. You are blessed anointed and destined. When you figure out your worth, you can walk in your BAD-NESS!

Ways to be B.A.D. #10: Use Your Resources

Everyday I am faced with the challenges of using what I know to get what I want. Sometimes I look at life and say I just can't do this right now, but then I look at my goals and say, I just can't NOT DO THIS RIGHT NOW.

I want growth in my life, and I want to build on leaving a legacy for my family. Now, I am in my 40's but as long as God gives me breath, I can handle this. So with that, USE YOUR RESOURCES.

What are you resources? Look around at what you want and what you desire; what do you need to obtain those desires. For one, you have to have a good prayer life, and, then 2, you need move in what God says to do. The problem with some, is that they are waiting on God to give instructions in a normal way, when actually you can't expect that. He is SUPERNATURAL; omnipotent. He can do things WAY BETTER than others can; than man can.

What are you resources?

• teaching
• cooking
• planning
• couponing
• reading

These may not look like resources to you, but think about it: being a reader will make you a reviewer for a writer or author. Being a writer you can create a blog sharing your expertise on cooking. Being a talker can help maximize your potential at being a speaker, write, and an expert.

Ways to be B.A.D. #9: Never Under Estimate Your Capabilities

Wow! Yes, this is so on point today. You are capable to do so much, that sometimes you don't see how you can do it.

You are capable to have all of what you want, with the resources you have. Another transparent moment: when I was short on cash and the internet was off at my home, I would go to the library and work on all that I needed to; I would work hard to PUMP THINGS OUT. My 'at home' resource was down, but the free resource to someone like me with a library card, was ALWAYS ON POINT. I took advantage of PRESSING in the 2 hours they gave me.

Another thing, when I ran out of business cards, that I ordered, I would make my own at home. I would have to be really careful because these business cards might smear if wet, but it was important to stay in the game of being active in my business.

What I'm saying is never under estimate your capabilities just because you think you LACK IN A CERTAIN area; you only lack because you have spoken lack in your life.

Ways to be B.A.D. #8: Never Conform

This is relatively simple. NEVER CONFORM. This means, never compromise your spiritual life for those around you. Never conform to what people want you to to do.

Let me give you a personal example, I have been in a BROKE place for 3 months. I had to ask some people to help me, and the first thing they said was go back to work. I knew they didn't, and still don't, know the LORD, like I do; they don't understand, going back to what is normal is being disobedient.If I would have said, and did, what they wanted me to do, I would have conformed to their expectations. The problem is this, GOD IS HIGHER THAN THEY ARE, and even though I had to ask, I didn't lose myself.

You're going to come around some people that want you to walk in normalcy and give up you faith walk. When this happens, give them the peace sign and WALK AWAY!

Ways to be B.A.D. #7: Cultivate Your Gifts

Remember the scriptures about gifts? Remember that gifts are given without repentance? Do you recall the men with the talents? Take into consideration all the scriptures below and realize you fall in all of them. The only thing you have to ponder, in falling in all of the scriptures, is are you being obedient? Read Deuternonmy 28: 1-14. It talks about the blessing in obedience. This is going to be key as you decide and determine about cultivating your gift.

Matthew 25: 14- 30 The Parable of the Talents

If talents/gifts can help you to start or build a business, or in ministry; they can also help you in your life. The important part of using them is knowing where they came from, and giving GOD GLORY. I know that Romans 11:29 basically says everyone gets a gift and a calling, but if you don't use it for God's glory, what are you doing? Are you like the servant that didn't do anything?--that buried his talent? 

 

 Cultivate means to acquire or develop {skill,quality}.

What are you doing to develop your skill in cooking? coaching? sewing? fashion design? ministry? 

In order to do something with what you got, you must work at making it better. Every year, as a business owner, I work hard at learning something new about my industry or my skills. I do what I need to, to cultivate my gifts. 

I implore, not only encourage, you to work at cultivating your gift, and then GIVE GOD GLORY!

Ways to be B.A.D. #6: Help Others

There are times in life that you have to know that you can be helpful. You have to know that with and in all your resources, you can help others. Its not about selling what you have or bringing people in to be members of your church/ministry; its about sharing what you know and not looking for anything in return.

God has given us many tools; these things come in the form of gifts and talents. What are you doing to share those use those tools?

If God is in you, dwelling in you not only for YOUR GOOD, but HIS GLORY, you should be reaching back the same way you reached out. The same way you asked, someone is asking of you. Are you ready for the blessings if you truly aren't blessing others?
