Put the bills on the table, OPEN, and see what they say. If they say NOTHING pack their bags and see what they say
Put those bills out there for your kids to see, and say READ THIS, who is handling this? Are you paying for this? Are you helping pay any of this?
Then SHUT UP!
Yes, I said it. You don't have time to explain to CHILDREN, how things are being paid, OR NOT, unless they are doing something to help get it paid.
Children must stay in a child's place. Let me share this to help some of you:
Even if my bills are late, if the lights are on, the heat is on, the roof is still over our heads, WE'RE MAKING IT, by what MAMA has put together or figured out!
Children get of age and think they can say whatever, but HONEY, they better be ready to move if they don't have any cash to help MAKE IT WORK!!
So, parents, put the bills on the table.

Motherly Wisdom 15: Do your very best!
Just do your very best, parents.
Your upbringing, your experiences, and your responses to life is how things will 'play out' in your children as adults. If you did YOUR BEST, not your moms best, your cousins best, or Granny's best, but YOUR BEST, stop beating yourself up and live.
Every day we wake up to a new day, wondering what it will bring. Everyday we look at the new day as a time of trying to get over yesterday. Yesterday, is not our problem nor is it ours to take back.
I sit here some time and wonder what mistakes I made in life to get treated the way I do, then, I realize it is me bringing up the past that hurts me so. I have done all I could with and in everyone around me; it was MY VERY BEST. It might have been low standard for others, or too much for some, but I did my best.
You do YOURS!

Motherly Wisdome #14: Don't Use the Children
Don't use the children against the other parent. The children understand everything at every age; they will really be upset with you later!
As a young mom, I would see other mothers use their children to get what they wanted from the dads. That was manipulation of the utmost, and spiritually, it's witchcraft. A great form of control, because women thought they had the upper hand.
The problem with this is, the dad's got tired of being used. They either took custody or stopped coming around. Then, the kids would be upset with the Moms because they couldn't see their dads.
I was never one to use my children to get at their dad. I don't have time, for what we called, kid games. That's a game you play, that you can't stop playing or you would always have pie on your face.
I like to eat pie, not play with pie.
Children see everything, hear everything, and then they learn how to play the game. Don't let them play it on you when they get older, so stop now!
Don't use YOUR CHILDREN AGAINST THE OTHER PARENT.

Motherly Wisdom #13: No Baby Mama/Daddy Drama
Whether you are the Mom or the Dad: Don't be the one causing the drama.
You have to be better than the other. If she has issues with your new relationship, don't feed into it. If he has issues with your living your life, don't feed into it.
If she's on welfare, refusing to get a job, don't hold back child support.
If he's not paying child support don't keep the child from him.
Drama comes in when you get mad at the other for going on with their lives despite the child, or children you have together. Stop it!
It should never be about the two of you EVER AGAIN now that your child is born!

Motherly wisdom #7: Mama Doesn't Know Everything
Mama doesn't know everything; she just knows how to handle it. Prayer + Praise= positive probabilities.
Every mother has her ups and downs, but in those ups and downs she finds a way to make it work. In the 11 1/2 months that I have been out of the 9-5, I have had to come up with some sure fire ways to make ends meet. Even as a small business owner, you find that people don't have a strategic plan on PAYING YOU ON TIME.
Every day is a learning experience. So, Moms don't try to burden you with what they know only their experiences that they have had. You don't have to apply it to your life, but at least put it in the back of your head.
We know how to pray for guidance and praise until it comes! As a parent, I take every opportunity to pray.

Some of the things Mom's know how to handle:
- paying bills (late or otherwise)
- daycare
- school information
- doctors
- organization
- substitution (of anything)
Learn from it!
