The Understanding Wife

We are not only the help meet, we are the everything. (and look at this with a positive eye)

God didn't make us to be weak. He made us to fill in the blanks of all of our household problems when our husbands go crashing into the woodwork! I always wondered why God made us this way, and always blamed Eve.

Yet, I see that our private emtional statue can only be shared with our girl friends because they understand; they are made just like us. I see why we can do 11 things at once, God gave us strength and mind to get it done..and done on time. I see why our perfect husbands fail at some things, because we 'FILL IN THE BLANKS' with the rest. more

Family Friday~~Pulling it all together

When you create a life that seems it is bigger than the plan YOU had, you have to pull it all together for balance and completion in the HOME!

Well, this hits home for me because everything I dream about to be prosperous and successful, is about to fall into the gutter because my home life isn't 100%. I blame my parents for this; if they weren't go-getters, creative minded, dreamers, and people that just wanted more out of life, I would be working my 9-5 and being Suzy Homemaker. So what do I do? Find balance. (I want you to visit ivillage.com and sign up with ilearn which has free online classes for just this topic).

The importance of balance gives us all the connection we need in our lives and frees us from stress. The primary importance to keep life stable and obtain this balance is the connection we have with the Lord. We are all God's children; when we choose to follow HIM, we are walking the path that opens our ears to hearing, seeing and doing.

So how do we start to get there:

1. Obey all the commands (not just the commandments)
2. Study the word
3. Fellowship with other like minded, spiritual individuals
4. Always be in prayer
5. Take classes or lessons regarding balance
6. Don't give up
7. Always trust the Lord.

These few steps may sound easy, but once you get started it's hard. I want to also, suggest that you visit Greg Dickow's web site and sign up for the Thinking Fast.
http://www.changinglives.org or www.thinkingfast.org

You have to scripturally start somewhere in order to get things in order and in balance.

Blessings.

Leaving the World Behind

I must say that church services were awesome today. Our Bishop preached about coming out of street life. WOW....sometimes you dont' know what your hang ups are until you see it from the spiritual. It's a dead end world if you allow yourself to be trampled on by what the world may bring. It's time to leave the world behind.

I learned, from service today, that I can allow little foxes to come in and "bother" my whole peaceful setting. Sometimes I have it together and sometimes I don't...but I know if I just lean on JESUS...I am okay..my strength comes from the word I read everyday.
Needless to say the spirit took me to Isa. 8:11-22 the topic was Fear God...(in my New Internation Version. It was funny because in the midst of the DRAMA in our lives...how many of us fear God?

I know people who smoke but in the same breath say you shouldn't play with God...but you are in bondage to smoking..I know people who are shacking.....at the same time dealing with illnesses and calling out to God why??? Well, let the spirit lead your life..stop shacking and give everything to God.

I also know me...whew! I'm not perfect..I'm not always right, but I"m making it....there are things going on in my life that I can either let harm me...or I'm going to PRAISE GOD in the midst of and know that HE IS....I fear HIM because HE can take me out...the same way HE brought me in this world.

I made a choice to leave the world behind so that I can have a foot at heavens door...I'm trying to help all that I can...I may be too strong..or too bold...but I want you to get yours while you still have time.
