Small Business Referral Network

Small Business Referral Network

Joining together to help small business work like big business.

The Small Business Referral Network Vision

For years now I have been meeting, networking with, and getting to know other business owners out there. I have been a part of many online communities, volunteered on many as a Community Leader or Manager, and gained a lot of experience.

I noticed in most cases, these networks seemed to lack a way to really get their members involved in finding ways to support one another, as well as the community, and help in finding ways to truly do business "better".

Some people, while preaching they are "pro" small business, really did not walk the talk. They did not give their members the true support or platform to connect and grow a better business. While they were good places to meet others, and yes network, they offered no true resource or support to actually get involved and grow.

Our mission is to bring these small businesses together to support, assist, offer services and groups that will give you the tools and resources that do matter. We will teach you how to connect and join together in a way that will benefit you personally, as well as those you choose to do business with.

Our primary goal is to build a truly interactive community where members are involved and supported, and yes even rewarded, for the efforts of growing with us as we help you grow your business. We wish to develop the benefits, services, and rewards that will help you launch your business and take it to the next level.

It is our hope to create the first true cooperative program of small business owners who'll come together to actively support the network in helping each other grow. It is our belief that to survive, a small business needs access to every possible advantage available. We also believe that as this community grows, members will be able to connect with help both on the internet and within their local communities.

The Understanding Wife

We are not only the help meet, we are the everything. (and look at this with a positive eye)

God didn't make us to be weak. He made us to fill in the blanks of all of our household problems when our husbands go crashing into the woodwork! I always wondered why God made us this way, and always blamed Eve.

Yet, I see that our private emtional statue can only be shared with our girl friends because they understand; they are made just like us. I see why we can do 11 things at once, God gave us strength and mind to get it done..and done on time. I see why our perfect husbands fail at some things, because we 'FILL IN THE BLANKS' with the rest. more

Featured Business Woman: Jen

There is nothing personal about getting fit and in shape! Coach Jen makes it look easy! She made a goal and stuck to it to better her health and her life. Working hard to bring this point across to others Jen tells her story on her website Personal Fit Coach:

"I’ve always been a relatively active person, but after having two children, and approaching my late 30’s, I really lost my motivation to workout and my metabolism went down the drain. I was overweight, unhealthy, unhappy and trying to care for two children under age 4. When I felt like going to bed BEFORE my children, I knew something had to change."

She had to start somewhere, just like the rest of us, but she never gave up.

"It is easy to get caught up with comparing yourself to your neighbor, coworker, or worse, some celebrity or model. We need to focus on our own personal best..."

Your health is very important. Starting with losing a little weight and staying physically fit will help you get everything else in your life together. Coach Jen is ready to assist all those that need a push. We have all been where she was and are probably still there. Jen makes it her business to help others. Be encouraged in knowing that she is there every step of the way. Let her motivate you into a lean body!

Featured Business Woman: Kenyatta Wilson

I am in the presence of some very creative women! I want to take the time to invite you to join Fabulous Black Women on the ning network. Let me tell you we are all fabulous be not every member is a woman and not every member is black, but we have a majority of minority business people that are great networkers.

Kenyatta Wilson is another business woman working hard to stay with her plan A into this rough economy! I think she shows many women how you can stay at the top if you keep focus! You will see, below, the reason why she got into business and the reasons why she stays in business!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I started making jewelry as a way to supplement my income when I had to care for not only my two boys, but also my mother, who had to stop working when she suffered two series of mini strokes, 7 total.
I have decided this year to donate a portion of my sales to the American Cancer Society as a tribute to my father, whose death from lung cancer will see its 5th anniversary in September.
My company is Chic, Not Cher Handmade Creations, I make jewelry. My main site is http://chicnotcher.net and my store on Etsy can be found at http://sosogood313.etsy.com
Great job Kenyatta! God bless you
