I was Her....Olivia Pope

How did I get here with this title? I made a discovery in the past 30 days for which I may need counseling for but, nonetheless, a discovery. I realized I was Olivia Pope; the fixer, the caregiver, the saver, the....WOMAN.

Being a woman is a given; but some women find themselves weak. Olivia, gets weak, and then REVERTS BACK TO BEING STRONG. Where does that strength come from? It comes from being the fixer, the caregiver, the saver; it comes from being the best at the best of what we do and not what we're not.

I was her; Olivia Pope. I AM HER.

No, not in seasons, of course; but seasoned. Being seasoned is experience. I am HER. I am the one who MOVES MOUNTAINS for people and then I have MORE EXPERIENCES because of my mountain-moving abilities.

I am her; I don't even regret being her.  Why? Our lives are wrapped around what other people say about us, even think about us, and we should have no regrets about what we've learned. Our lives have knowledge and wisdom wrapped into them NO MATTER HOW GOOD OR BAD they have been.

HERE'S YOUR MESSAGE:
Never have regrets. Never ever have regrets, because you can't learn if you have regrets. You can't see God in your life if you have regrets. If you are offered another day, another morning, you don't have time for regrets. You have time for lessons. You have time for experiences. You have time for LIFE, HEALTH, and STRENGTH.

You are a GLADIATOR (Olivia's team). A gladiator is a person who engages in a fight or controversy. Don't turn away from controversy or fight.

"My white hat is bigger than your hat."
Olivia knows what she is worth, and she refuses to accept anything lower.

Why are you SO Important?

It's a question that rises in the minds of those who see you speak, write, and never cry. It is in the minds of those whose feet are to small to walk in your shoes. It is the question they whisper behind your back for fear you may CUT THEM WITH YOUR WORDS, in their faces.

WHY ARE YOU SO IMPORTANT?
Because YOU ARE.

Your goal is to work towards the results God showed you in visions and dreams; to unlocok the door of the mansion the Lord gave you after being in public housing for so many years.Your goal everyday is to accomplish SOMETHING in order to NEVER QUIT. Yet, the only questions you're hearing in the hallways, from the closet conversations and mystrey texts is:

WHY ARE YOU SO IMPORTANT?

Tell them becase you are
Esther: stolen from your home in the middle of the night to become queen
Ruth: husband died, didn't return home, and you converted to Christianity.
Mary: carrying destiny

You are the woman no one understands and wants to understand. Let's just talk about her and watch her fail they say. Let's get together, without her, and just GOSSIP.

That is where you will find you are so important. You are in the middle of the conversations you're not even invited to, because they know you have an answer for why you are WHERE YOU ARE, AND WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO.

Why are you so important?

SIMPLE: GOD CHOSE YOU

I'm not TOUGH as NAILS

I'm not.

I don't feel tough.

I feel squishy.

Kind of out of shape.

Speak what I think.

But I'm not TOUGH AS NAILS.

I am DANA WILLIAMSON. Just me. Just life. Just ministry.

But I'm not TOUGH AS NAILS.

Can we answer what is TOUGH AS NAILS anyway:
(as) tough as nails. also (as) hard as nails. strong and very determined: She is a warm and friendly person, but she is also as tough as nails at work. (Definition of “(as) tough as nails” from the Cambridge Academic Content Dictionary © Cambridge University Press)

I can't even imagine why someone would say I'm tough as nails when my transparency is real and I am weak. Not weak in the sense I can't handle this but weak in the sense of HUMILITY. I am not tough as nails, but I am somebody. I am important to somebody. God didn't pull me out to put my in a rut.
I'm tough, no, BUT Oh yes, IM STRONGER THAN YOU THINK.

Nehemiah 8:10New King James Version (NKJV)

10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Joshua 1:7New King James Version (NKJV)

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
I know the word.
I don't curb the word.
I don't lie about what I feel.
I don't tell the devil everything.
I AM DANA WILLIAMSON.
I come from a family of entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, gun toters, criminals and B.A.D. WOMEN
Tough as Nails? No
Strong..Yes...I am somebody.
You're not even invited to the table.

“I am many things, stupid is not one of them.”

The Epiphany

I had an epiphany Resurrection Sunday weekend that had me challenged; that MONDAY I woke up with a bad taste in my mouth.

A taste where I knew I was utterly alone; so alone IN THIS WORLD, I was ready to go back to Milwaukee and say the hell with this JOURNEY STUFF, I'M SAYING NO.

But in my spirit, I couldn't say no. I couldn't turn around and go back. On my social media, one of the first things I read was about going to a place that made no sense, getting off of social media and focusing on God, and, basically, sitting in my yes. My yes is so important to others, not to me, because I could die today, and in dying someone will have to go over my life and see what I have done to serve God.

The Epiphany

Yes, I thought of myself as a failure. I had spoken it over my life many times in that past week. I had even gotten to the train station and thought about getting back on the bus and going to my ex's house and just applying for a job. I was ready to go to HELL for disobedience, BUT THE EPIPHANY held me back. It shook me up and brought me to my senses.

I HAD NO CHOICE, but to stay on the path already lain out for me no matter what the struggle is or was; WHEN YOU ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT a YES is a YES.

Consider the times in your life when you had an epiphany; what did you do? Go against the grain or with it?

Fast Cars and Slow Sex: Why slow sex?

Okay now we're at the day the LORD has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!

SEX, LIES, VIDEOTAPE

The lesson isn't in SLOW SEX..but why is it SEX?

See, I am a minister of the Gospel. (Remember?)
I am one that is always going to tell you what the word says.

When I started this three day series (today is the 3rd day), I shared with you that the lesson was in the title.

SEX...is not what it should be call between A MARRIED MAN AND A WOMAN.

YOU BETTER MAKE LOVE AND MAKE IT FAST OR SLOW.
Your house, your bed, your marriage, is YOUR BUSINESS, but it's not sex. When you become intimate with your husband you are sharing something SPIRITUAL with this man you love. You are exchanging touches, kisses, bodily fluids (be real, not a prude), and you are looking into the eyes of your husband and LOVING ON HIM.
It's LOVE. There is no if ands or buts about it.

What does this have to do with priorties?
If you go to bed with the intent of just having SEX, you already have a planned attack on your spouse and your marriage. Your proiorty is to get it done; slow or not.

Making love is slow. Sex is fast and unemtional.

Fast Cars and Slow sex......change your priorties and LIVE.

Fast Cars and Slow Sex: Why Fast Cars?

They tell us patience is a virtue, but I say if you desire patience, and wait, you will still be going too fast. It is something that is cultivated through time, and experience. You can't buy patience.

SO

Why fast cars?

Because we like them.
We like to feel in control.
We like the exhiliration they bring when our foot is on the gas, hands on the gear shift and mind on the road. The lesson here isn't about the fast cars, but what it puts in us as we drive.

Is our mind on the road? What are you thinking about when speeding through the streets of your town, traveling the country side, or just trying to get to work?

Ladies, I would drive so fast, when I got out the car I needed a cigarette. (I don't smoke, but flow with me here).

The lesson here is the recklessness of fast cars is the results of lost control in our lives. We drive fast not to get to the destination but to take CONTROL OF GETTING TO THE DESTINATION.
I would step out of the car with my 4 inch heels on, purse, briefcase, and sache' myself into my office, smiling at everyone, and, oh yes, don't forget the caffeine in my hand.

Why fast cars? Because they aren't fast cars. They are driven by drivers that don't have control of their lives. NO, I"m not talking about those that drive fast occasionally for the invigorating ride around the speedway, or beach parking lot; I'm talking about the regular Jane Doe that has her priorties MIXED UP.

Ready for the SEX LESSON? See you tomorrow.

Fast Cars and Slow Sex

I am a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise; not because I like fast cars but because I drive fast.
I own and drive, a full size conversion van. This van is big enough for me to keep people at arms length, I see over most other vehicles and when traveling no one knows WHO IS IN THE VAN WITH ME.

But you didn't come here for that:

FAST CARS AND SLOW SEX: OUR PRIORTIES ARE MIXED UP.

Ladies (and some men) what exactly are your priorties? What do you want out of life? Do you want the sports car that goes from zero to 80 in a mili-second or slow love that takes you to higher hieghts behind closed doors?

I'm sorry, have you ever asked yourself that question? Try it.
No, I will never say FLIP THE SCRIPT. What I will say is look at your ENTIRE LIFE and tell me where FAST CARS AND SLOW SEX comes in and I will tell you the most important lesson today is in the title. Caught on yet?

No?
Still thinking?
Wanting to hear some raunchy lies watch some explicit video?
Get your mind out of the gutter and come back tomorrow....because I believe you've MISSED THE LESSON.

Smart, Saved & Sexy: The day Abstinence and Celibacy Met UP

Abstinence meaning:
ab·sti·nence
ˈabstənəns/Submit
noun
the fact or practice of restraining oneself from indulging in something,

Celibacy meaning:
cel·i·ba·cy
ˈseləbəsē/Submit
noun
the state of abstaining from marriage and sexual relations.

In may of 2012 I enjoyed my last intimate act with the person I said 'I Do' to; not only to him but to anyone. I decided at that point because our lives as husband and wife were on a downward spiral letting go sexually was the start of letting go mentally and spiritually. He didn't notice. God had.
Abstinence and Celibacy have two different meanings but, depending on your life, help with one thing: being prepared for what God has for you(us) in the long run which is our end result.

In the midst of this, I share with you TODAY the realities of both from the perspective of a single woman. When I made the decision in 2012, I did so in order to see what my then husband would say or do, because he did nothing it was easy for me to understand and see my lot in life as a woman chosen for ministry and a higher calling. I was able to see and hear what God was saying to me and the assignment at hand. You do realize four years ago I made this spiritual pact. I anxiously await my future king, but I serve God first while waiting.

Today Abstinence and Celibacy have met up. I am sharing this with you because the choices we all must make in our singleness is vital to the doors that must remain closed until our God ordained husbands show up. Doors that must remain intact until God sees fit. This is why I serve and this is why I stay in the position of prayer.

Ladies your sexuality and sensuality is in held by you in the understanding of WHOM GOD IS AS YOUR FATHER. A father will not put you in a place where you will succumb to temptation, So you have to make the choice to live according the word given us. Your temple, and your call. LINE IT UP WITH THE WORD OF GOD.

1 Corinthians 6:18-19
1 Corinthians 7: 32-40
1 Corinthians 7:2
Romans 10:17

It is my hope that you are encouraged to do what is necessary in keeping yourself pure until the time the Lord says different.

Who are you as a Woman?

As women, we are always challenged in understanding where we are to understand whom we are; I ask you today to put yourself on the other side of this question and get the answer.

WHO ARE YOU AS A WOMAN?

In my B.A.D. Queens of the Round-Table group, I continuously ask the women what they bring to the table? The table of business? The family table? or even ministry..what do YOU bring to the table?

What do you think about yourself that allows you to be EVERY WOMAN in and around your life?

I watched Unsung Hollywood with a special on Meagan Good and I was intrigued by her ups and downs in life. I was especially intrigued by her recent marriage to Minister Devon Franklin. Not that he's a minister, but, from her story, she finally received her blessed relationship.

Nonetheless, the questions isn't to determine your lack of self worth or how much you value you; it is to take inventory of what you think.

Make a list of your trials and triumphs.
In that list what are you really proud of FIRST, then make a list of the things you can deal without.
Each list makes you whom you are however good or bad it is; don't take anything for granted.

When you look at what you don't like, ask yourself what was going on in your life causing the negative outcome. If things have changed make note of what you did that caused the positive change; if it has not changed ask yourself what do you need deliverance from.

Who you are is very important to your future as well as those around you! Make note. Get help (deliverance) and move forward!!

Smart, Saved and Sexy Intiative

What exactly is an initiative?

in·i·ti·a·tive
noun
  1. 1.
the ability to assess and initiate things independently
  2. 2. the power or opportunity to act or take charge before others do.

This is what we're doing at B.A.D Queens of the Round-Table; we are taking action and putting work in to change the mindsets of the women around the world. We are determined to build B.A.D. Queens by helping them see the inside of their lives compared to the outside the world seems to complain about.

The point in the initiative is to establish an ongoing community of encouraging women at a level that isn't as HIGH UP, yes HIGH UP, as the B.A.D. QUEENS of the Round-Table. The Queens at the table are already in the mindset of I have to keep going, I have to do what God says, there isn't anything I can't do and I'm doing it with the help of the other queens.

So how smart, sexy and saved are you to move into this part of the Royal Dining room? How smart, sexy and saved are you to know that no matter your body type, or size, you are the epitome of that next level woman?

There are two levels to the initiative that we want you to consider:

1. Donation of any amount to participate in teleconference calls starting July 12th, 2016 also includes the Triple S report.

OR

2. Donation of any amount OVER $15 includes the Smart, Sexy, & Save T-shirt, teleconference, Triple S. Report and name included on the B.A.D Queens site as a supporter.

Small-XXL Women's fitted

I'm Naked!

This morning I wokeup thinking about my new book Prophetic Patterns: Charles and Jasmine, and had to repent for the thoughts I had in my head. You see, I'm writing love scenes throughout the book between a married couple that the super saved folks seem to forget. It was so intense, I felt lustful at my thoughts; hence having to repent.

While getting ready, I thought about why I had those lustful thoughts and were they actually lustful? It dropped in my spirit that after all this time of being abstinent, I still didn't love my body. I did't love me.

In my shower I cried out to God to help me and after, I started to exercise. Naked. I started exercising naked. It isn't that I hate my weight, it was me recognizing if I can do jumping jacks with, wall push ups or squats, while naked, I could see every flaw and accept it. I looked in the mirror and laughed saying:

I'M NAKED!

About a year ago, I did a series on Beauty is Spirit Deep. The purpose was to allow women to realize their beauty starts from within. I understood what was so necessary in that message from my own issues, that sometimes I have to tackle today. You're probably saying how does that have to do with the thoughts I had when referring to my book? It means that after four years, a great divorce, success in building a business and ministry, I still have to remind my self about my beauty. My being smart, saved and sexy is a mindset not a body thing. It is an inner body experience. Accepting who you are naked is accepting who you are PERIOD!

Over the next few days, I will be releasing the SMART, SAVED, AND SEXY initiative that is being birthed through the B.AD. Queens of the Round-Table Networking Group.

Here are a few things I want you to run with while we get ready for this new initiative:

  • You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Ps. 139:14)
  • You are blessed by GOD to accomplish all tasks despite your flaws.
  • The imperfections on your body should not be in your mind or spirit. ( 1 Sam. 16:7)
  • Look at yourself naked: point out the flaws without flinching and love on those flaws.

God bless you!

What is the Goal?

Daily, I sit at my computer pounding out words of encouragement, curriculum for B.A.D University or helping others with their businesses; at the end of the day I ask myself, what is the goal?

In my finance blog, I talk about setting goals you can accomplish but each day I end asking if I've done that, not only for myself but for others as well.

Today, I received an epiphany in the form of a question: WHAT IS THE GOAL???

The end result in life no matter what you are doing is 1. do what God has said to do and 2. Get to heaven.

There are other smaller goals that need to be accomplished along the way, but the end GOAL is more serious and if you are not getting close to that you should be afraid of what God can do.

Think about it lades, what is the GOAL?

Personal Challenges that help BUILD BUSINESS

We are halfway through the month of February and I feel like I'm hustling to get through month end.

In some ways, I am.

My month end for business is everyday I don't make money. I get up every morning with the intent on making some kind of dollars and SENSE to motivate me for the next day.

SOMETIMES THAT DOESN'T ALWAYS HAPPEN.

On February 12, 2016, I created a personal challenge to take me over the edge.

I can't give you specifics of the challenge, but I can say this:

WHEN YOU WANT BAD BILLIONAIRE STATUS you WILL LOSE SLEEP, STAY IN PRAYER AND FORGET THE HATERS.

I will touch base in a week to share my challenge and my testimony.

From the Pit to the Palace: 5 Steps to Getting There Step 2

In step 1 we created a list of things we could use while in our circumstances; the things right at our finger tips. You should have made the decision to join a direct sales business, start a business or, hold a fundraiser.

Are you using any of these things? Are you working diligently to apply what is necessary? The serious part of this is to look at what you need to change in your life. Your house is too small, not enough food, not the right furniture. So what is step 2?

Step 2: apply what you've chosen for your life to go from the pit to the palace

When Joseph had to deal with his circumstances in the place he was in, I"m sure he thought of his brothers and his father. I'm sure he felt unloved and unsupported in the things he shared with them. YET, he applied what was given to him spiritually to all that was trying to work against him in the natural. He went from the PIT TO THE PALACE.

What have you chosen to do?

  • Start a business? ---do you have a coach?
  • Have a fundrasier? ---are you going to use a crowd-funding site?
  • Join a direct sales business?---do you have the small investment?

It's vital that you do the work to apply one of these choices to your life.

  • If you start a business get a coach to help you find your niche, create the structure, etc.
  • If you have a fundraiser, get someone to help you create a profile on a crowdfunding site that doesn't sound like you're begging for money.
  • Join a direct sales business that has a low investment and people are familiar with.

These are only a few examples, but you must be ready to do whatever it takes.

From the Pit to the Palace: 5 Steps to Getting There Step 1

Joseph went from the Pit to the Palace because his gifts made room for him. You have to use what you with a good heart in order to be seen. Sometimes people will forget, because they have their own agenda, but when they do, remember you its for the right time and for the right people.

Read Genesis 41: 1-57 and understand what was being done. Joseph had told one of the prisoners, after God gave him interpretation of his dreams, not to forget him. The time had come and the servant remembered. When Joseph interpreted the dream in great clarity he was taken from the prison (the pit) and put in the palace.

No matter what pits you're trying to get out of right now make the best of where you are. Make the best of the challenges by still being you.

  • You could be homeless trying to build a business, but with wi-fi, your mobile office travels. (#catchthat)
  • You could be without any money in your bank account, but with a few blogs, and self publishing, you can grow in a matter of days.
  • Your lights could be in danger of getting cut off but if you look at what you know to do, you can create a funnel of income right now from you computer.
  • Your children could worrisome, but prayer is on your side.

There are many pits we find ourselves in, ladies, but know that you can go from the pit to the place.

Step 1: look at your circumstances and make a list of how you can change those circumstances with what you have at your finger tips.

Ex. Do you need rent money? Have a dinner fundraiser or bake sale; yard sale
Do you need to create an extra income? Join a direct sales company that actually works. (Ex. Avon)

Ailsa Hardy(Stokes) Walking in God's Plan

Ailsa Hardy (Stokes) native of Chicago IL made her home in Milwaukee, WI from the age of 15 to present time, wife and mother of 3 sons. Author of two self-published books. The Plan Didn’t Work and 21 Awesome Home Based Businesses.  Also appeared  in I’m A Wife Not A Knife by Dana Neal.   Founder of Positive Directions, Inc. a ministry working with teen girls and woman to better themselves and their homes as well as their community.

How long have you been writing?

4 years

How many published works do you have?

2 books of my own and one book that I have an article or chapter in

What is the genre you focus on?

Christian non-fiction

What were you focusing on with this particular book?

My focus was to share my life experiences and to help others that may have dealt with some of the some issues, to know that with God on our side we can overcome all things.  Even though we may not understand why we are or had to experience things that are not so pleasant our lives can be used to share how awesome God is.

Any new releases?

I am currently working on two books, a children’s story and a book for on marriage.  Both books will be out summer of 2015 and will be found on Amazon.com

As a writer are you also a speaker? (please expound on this question)

Yes I  also am available for speaking engagements.  My focus is to woman and teen girls. To motivate and encourage them to not give up.  Also to share my testimony.

What would you like to tell new writers/authors to motivate them?

To new authors I would like to share, never let others take over your project.  Let your writing flow as you go. Another thing is to not focus on having enough money to get published.  There are self-publishing companies on line that will walk you through everything you need to get your work out there.  Stay encouraged and know that it’s your work that you are about to present to the world so give it your all.   To readers it would be a great help and boost to go to the site you purchased the books and leave a comment, even if it may not be that great. This lets that writer know where to improve or it give motivations to keep going.  Also as a reader of the book, if they  gave an email address for the writing, send them a note and let them know what you thinking about the book. Let them know if it helped you any way. That lets the writer know their work is doing what it set out to do.

There you have it from Mrs. Ailsa Hardy!

Ways to be B.A.D #31: Pray, Again

Here we are at the end; 31 points and days of BEING B.A.D. If you are Blessed, Anointed and Destined you deserve to have a focused set of points and affirmations to help you grow and go.

Ladies, we are not weaklings; we have been mentally victimized to believe we can't do what God ordained us before BIRTH TO DO. My concern at this point is to tell you what I told you int eh beginning and that is to PRAY. Thirty-one days ago we said pray and nothing has changed. God is the beginning and the end of a thing.

Don't forget him and don't leave him out of anything. You need him to direct your path and give you instructions on life and love. Prayer will keep you in close contact with the Father that knows your purpose. He wants you to expound on what He gave you.

Pray and Pray again!
