Motherly Wisdom #19: Remember the 4th Commandment

If at first you don't succeed, remember the 4th commandment about honoring your parents.

Okay, this may be a tough pill to swallow, but some of the issues our children have, even those that have fallen at deaths door is because of them not obeying GOD. They don't have to believe in God to realize they are disobeying HIM. Walking in a lie doesn't save anyone, but what has happened, is the walk AWAY FROM a commandment that comes with a promise.

There is no more hand holding. I have said, previously, that you must shake the dust. I have also said that tough love is only tough on the MOTHER, not the child, because we, moms, want to hold on to our children.

We can't hold on! At some point we have to realize that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Children, if you want to live a long life, you must honor your parents. If you want to run past those bullets like the matrix, think about how you respect, or not, your parents. Remember the 4th commandment, it protects!
