What is the title of your book? No Longer a Victim (NLaV): From the Pit to the Pulpit
Where did the idea for the book come from? WOW..from church hurt, family hurt, parental hurt, and blessing from people that I didn't know on how to live this life being spiritually called
What genre does your book fall under? Self-help, spiritual, Christian walk
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? My book has been published by C.K.Q. Publishing House
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? My first draft is always my last draft. I type out my manuscripts, pray will typing and when I'm done I know I'm done. I never fine tune my books to be what PEOPLE WANT but what PEOPLE NEED from my FATHER IN HEAVEN (through my life). I have an editor that goes over what I have and then its sent out for printing.
Give a one sentence synopsis of your book: From the womb: Before I was thirteen years old, my mother told me she didn’t love me while pregnant with me or the first few years of my life; she said she learned to love me.
To the pulpit: I allowed myself, as a baby in Christ, to be manipulated and used to the point of almost loss of breath and self.
What other works would you compare your story to? I would compare it to books that are about relationship with God and how we can overcome the enemy and his snares; books that are about testimonies and living a fullfilled life no matter what.
Who or What inspired you to write this book? My life was my inspiration and I know it will help others going through to the next level.
What else might pique the reader’s interest? We all have tests and trials in life, but without relationship with God in HEAVEN..you will not know how to get past these trials..to TRIUMPHS.
