I Choose not to GIVE UP
Everybody have their faults. People that walk with the Lord, carry a new spirit within them and can change the past into a better future. The key word in this concept is: choice.
When you choose God's way...you can't continue to live in the world. You can't continue to be what the world wants. You can't even be snobby. I just doesn't work. You can't allow the old self to dwell in the same body with the holy spirit.
Romans 6: 11-14
In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life;and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
How special it is to choose the Lord!
The enemy has been attacking my marriage and my home life for the past few weeks. About 3 weeks ago, I was handling it well..this past week...he through me for a loop with my middle son acting out. Did you know that when you walk with the Lord, those teenage years are not common place? You cannot go through what other parents go through if you have handed your whole life over to God....well, I've fallen at various points in my walk, but I get up. I have also been a praying mother, wife, co-worker... The enemy is attacking every aspect of my being...with some new things, and old things..but I CHOOSE not to give up.
I follow the Lord...and pray for patience, wisdom, and discernment.

Friends of the Married
Simple instructions:
1. Don't call after 9 pm unless it's an emergency..and don't use the time zone as an excuse.
2. Respect the sanctity of the marriage...just because yours didn't work, doesn't mean theirs won't.
3. Don't feed the mind of the husband/wife...do not be their cosigner on what's wrong. Tell them what's right even after they vent.
4. Stop being their sounding board if they are wrong.
5. If you're single, ask the Lord to send you somebody or ask HIM to give you the strength to keep out of theirs.
Sometimes people just don't get it! They are not supposed to be involved in every waking moment of the couples' lives. Sorry mom/dads of married children; cut the apron strings...if you raised them to be dependant on you....well guess what? They will always be wet behind the ears and not making in relationships that are important.

Wives~~Parents Unite
There is so much wrong in the world today where kids don't understand how good they have it at home. There were things I wanted to do as a teenager, but no one supported me. The same way they treat me now (in business) is the same way the treated me then (pom poms, choir, etc). When do parents began to understand that their life is not our lives..oops, not a kid anymore. When do we, parents, unite as one, understanding the emotions of our kids.
NEVER. They change everyday. Prayer helps everyday. Our prayers are not so much to change our kids, but for God to give us peace, while we go through the change. AMEN?
2 Timothy 3:2
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
In these last days, kids will be more rebellious, at any age...
Hebrews 11:23
By faith Moses' parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king's edict.
We do so much for our children, when do we decide that it's too much?
1 Timothy 3:4
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect.
There were times when I tried to have full control in our house...and my husband did not. Where are we moms? Even if our husbands aren't saved we have to be as one...he is still the head of the house....if you look like you're divided..your children will use that against you.
What is the responsiblity of our children according to the word of God?
Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Colossians 3:20
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
Whew! God help us....we have to be as one parents unite..Mother's do what you have to according to God's word...because in the middle of discipline there is still love....and in Love...all things are conquered.
Ephesians 6:4
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Colossians 3:21
Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged

As Night Falls
I'm sitting here wondering if I am patient enough to wait on the Lord to save my husband. Sometimes I wonder if I'm enough for him to come home to. Well, he does come home. My downfall is I love without judging. And sometimes made the fool. My husband doesn't know yet, that the Lord answers prayers...and provides blessings to HIS children that obey HIS commands.
As it gets closer to my bed time, I'm wondering....is love enough?
As it gets closer to my bed time, I'm wondering....is love enough?
Quick Text~~Proverbs 18:22
"He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord."
A good wife is a blessing to her husband and her family. A good wife waits patiently on God to make the changes in her life that are need. A good wife is expected to be the Pro. 31 woman that plans while waiting.
Are you a good wife?

Blessing your husband!!!
Ladies, let me say something about being sexy. You are only as beautiful as you think you are. Gentlemen, love your wives as you love yourself. Now you know that we need you to say the right thing. Not what we want to hear~~that's not biblical or wise. Ladies we have to learn that. Because those black pants from two years ago that now look grey...you husband told a story...they are not cute!!
But, but, when you slip off those grey/black pants to give to goodwill or the salvation army, take them off for your husband! Be intimate with him. Changing those tight grey pants from a chore to tearing off wrapping paper to a beautiful thing. You!
Bless your husband with your presence. Give him your essence...let him see you all over again, and if he loves you the weight won't matter.

Heart of the Wife (Part 2)
"How handsome you are, my lover! Oh, how charming! And our bed is verdant." Song of Songs (solomon) 1:16
Our husbands are ours. We married them with all their good qualities and faults. We are their wives, cellulite, hair pieces and all! On that sunny, rainy, snowy day we said I do. Now what?
Well, the longer we are married, the more we have to go to the Lord and ask for a renewed heart for our husbands. Why? We love them, right? Sure, but they have habits that die hard. The have concerns where they put us second. They may not have chosen the Lord as their Lord and savior. We have to seek the Lord. He is our strength.
So ladies where is our hearts? They are in the uplifting of our husbands. Building up their characters; praising their worth..respecting them through and through. "Wives, submit to the your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior."
This submission grows out of Christian faith and encourages mutual love. (Study Bible, NIV) Whatever we give out, we give back. If we pray for husbands, asking God to change his heart, talk to his spirit etc...but praise our husbands while waiting on the Lord....how awesome things will be...amen???
God is good all the time, but requests are granted in HIS time. The heart of the wife lies in what they desire for their husbands in turn their marriages:
1. Salvation
2. ministry
3. emotions
4. forgiveness
5. a renewed heart
6. alone time..........
This list is not ground in stone anywhere, but it allows for wives to see that we are not selfish, we are here for the needs of others. First to obey the commands of our Father and second to be available in all aspects to our husbands and our families.
Pray for your husbands, love them and follow the Lord's commands from Genesis to Revelation.

We need the Lord
I just want to share this scripture because people are in need of the Lord and they don't know how He can come in and wipe things out of their lives. People of God have to be in constant fellowship with the Lord...not just sometimes.
You,Lord, are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
Don't be victim to the enemies snares....don't be in bondage.

Still Smiling
Women are the foundation of many families. We have to make it regardless. When our "rib", not our back bone, when our rib is pushed and pulled and weakened, we can only lean on the Lord. Men, saved or not, don't have anything to be sorry about or take issue with; their wives and mothers have always taken care of business.
Women are the foundation of many families. When the kids look a mess, people look to the mother. What isn't she doing right to keep these kids together. It's the foundation of the mom that stabilizes the kids. What is her foundation?
If she is rooted in the Lord, she is still smiling. If she is rooted in the Lord, that "rib" will mend. If she is rooted in the Lord, her prayers will be answered. Still smiling. A woman of God's foundation is rooted in prayer, and fasting. Life style changes according to God's word.
But, no ma'am it's not that easy. A woman whose foundation was not solid, that is getting solid is going to have times when the enemy will challenge her. Forget the man that is in the house.....not trying to stand on the same foundation. The enemy has him already. No, it's not that easy to keep smiling. It's not easy to love and love and not get anything back. To prepare and pray and not see any results. Still smiling, the foundation was never stable.
How do we get the foundation stable? Some women get tired of always being so strong. Always trying to be in the right place and doing the right things. God knows about the crying in the night and smiling in the day. No, sir we are not being phony....we are encouraging all those women around us to get their foundation straight, their rib mended....Praise God, when you know to lean on the Father.
No way, it's not that easy. At 3:00 in the morning, women wash clothes, clean basements, and ponder why the children are so disruptive...why the house is so "unkempt"? Women are left alone to figure it all out. At 3:00 in the morning...just in case someone wakes.....mothers, wives, are still smiling...
Pearly whites show through the night to comfort a child or let the husband know all is well.....but what if its not? The woman that is crying out "I am tired of being a loser"...........a solid foundation brings peace in the storm and a woman my realize that she isn't a loser, she is suffering for a short while. Weeping may endure............still smiling in the morning.
God I said....what is wrong? People of the world are human. They are only worried about their own feelings. Some things can't be changed and some things can't be altered. Only the Lord can move them into the right place, but only they can make the decision to stay in that place.
Women, we are not the problem. The enemy has hold of people in our lives and those people are complacent with where they are. It's not out fault, women, that we are the foundation of the family. We can't waver, we cant fall, we can't quit. We are the Pro. 31 woman, that God made to be all know all show all and smile.
Encourage the young women...as best you can. In these last days, the women, are the ones guiding light....no matter what goes on in the world....we are

I AM SO EXCITED!!!
God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!! Do you realize if you obey all the Lord's commands in HIS word he will bless you!!! I am so excited that the Lord has been continuously blessing me....I don't even fall down anymore, I may lean over....but I don't fall AMEN??

My mom has been wonderful in this process, although we don't always agree...she has been beneficial in making this site wonderful. I prayed for patience and the Lord gave it to me and to her.
Long story short, the site is http://www.ckqgifts.com
God is good....for me and you!

I can do all things through Christ that strengeneth me.
I have no fear in man. I don't walk in fear. I don't have any bondage to man, I am free.
As a woman of God, I still have faults....my emotions rise and my worry gets in. Yet, I as woman of God, I know where to run. It's so important to just run to my Father in heaven...he can give me peace. He can heal my pain..and he can TAKE OUT the people in my life that aren't encouraging to me and the work HE is doing in my life.
Did you know that even family can be TAKEN OUT? Just because they are family doesn't mean the Lord wants us to stand in that suffering, enduring that suffering forever. We are only to endure for a time, not a life time.
Psalm 30:5 says For His anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Most of us are waiting for that joy...but we can't stop moving. Cry. Get it out. But praise God in the midst of. He gives us strength to make it. He allows us to go through, so we look to HIM to get out...pray, love, learn...but don't give up.
