Hebrews 10:25 Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,....
"Meeting together as believers is a good habit because it provides necessary fellowship with other believers, it develops the habit of group Bible study, it keeps us busy when we might otherwise be slipping into bad habits, and it offers an accountability group. "(Touchpoints for Women,1998)
Sometimes as business men and women we forget that we need to start our day with pray and thanksgiving to the Lord. Well that is first and foremost. Whether you work 1st shift or third shift or work at home any shift. Whenever your day starts, start with prayer. Cover your entire life with prayer and thanksgiving; being covered by the blood of Jesus. Why? Because you need, we need to allow the Lord to give us peace throughout the day to season our speech, our actions. Everything. Yet, there is also the meeting together of believers. Sometimes you have to have that connection outside of church hours. Not just bible study; not just ministry meetings. There are networks that I belong to that are Christian based. I belong to a Christian based sorority. I don't miss my spiritual connection with my friends that are believers, because they will tell me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear, and it will be biblically based.
Hebrews 10:25...but let us encourage one another----and all the more as you see the DAY approaching.
It is important to encourage those that know that time is drawing near for the Lord's return. Why? The signs and wonders will be great, but if they don't get it now time will run out for all. It will be too late. It is best to encourage people to be positive in the day they are in now...to move according to the Lord's plan, not theirs. To understand that being saved is a good option in life. Encourage the believers to keep standing and be still to hear the voice of the spirit...to understand correction. To discern right from wrong. Life doesn't have to be hard....We just have to make right choices.
God's awesome power and grace are evident in our lives. Women need to grasp their spirituality and obtain the breakthroughs necessary for growth and elevation.

Families
I have noticed in the past few weeks that families can be weakened by doubts in the hearts. It is rough. It is time consuming. It is prideful. Pride is an idol. There is a lot to learn spiritually if you are going to make it in God's world without doubt and without pride. The 1st question is how? The second question is why? The second question is easy, if you're a child of God, you know he told you to so do it. Cut and dry.
Then, you must show yourself approved. Study the word...learn the word... 2nd Timothy 2:15 Says "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." The word of truth is the bible. I've said this before..but it's hard for people to swallow; even Christians. If we walk the walk and talk the talk...we better be able to back it up. I mean seriously. I have seen families in the same church not talk with one another and still try to be blessed with "their saved selves". I'm not one to judge...I'm only one to pray. I don't know what is happening from one house to another and carnally it's not my business.
Spiritually, the Lord wants us to get along. There isn't time to nickel and dime everyone. There isn't time to continue to say this is life and that's it. There isn't time to say I know the word, but I'm scared. Families have to be strong, 1. in the their own homes, and then 2. in their extend families (grandchildren, stepchildren, in-laws etc)...because you have to encourage everybody. If families don't start encouraging those that are close to them, others will see that and they won't encourage them either. We have to be a blessing in order to be blessed.

Christian & Business it goes together!
Somethings have come to my attention that acutally gives me revelation on my 2007 goals for life, love and business. I only need the Lord and HIS word! (BIBLE~~BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH)..it's just that easy!!! If I do what the Bible says, I can help a lot of people, starting with my husband, my kids, my parents, my family, then friends, etc, etc. Yet, the other part of this is, people are giving up their "visual" christianity because it doesn't fit the mindset of the world. Who cares! Man cannot do anything to me. It's the will of the Lord and what HE wants for my life that can give HIM all the glory and by golly, go from there! I have an event planning business that I have redefined so I can share my values, my morals, as well as my expertise with my clients. All of this comes from my Christianity...my spiritual, saved self.
We need to have spirituality or spiritual direction in our businesses. Basically we need to put God 1st. By putting HIM 1st it's not just for the abundance..it's for the everything....the joy, the peace, the time, the patience..One thing that bothers me is you can't forget the rest...it all rolls together in everyday life. Why? Your employee has issues, needs a helping hand, your discern that your distributor is depressed, needs an encouraging word...your supervisor, your co-worker, your editor, your chief...you can't just "delete" the rest...the rest is life; as Christians (saved folk) our whole lives are our ministries.
What I'm saying is....we are Christians and we run businesses; we can't make it w/o the Lord and unless we realize that now, when the rapture comes well,.think about it...The bible says pray and fellowship...help and pray...pray and fast.......HE said in HIS word for the poor Ps. 34:6 "This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles." Ps. 35:10 "My whole being will exclaim, 'Who is like you, O Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.'"(for those that can't afford the yearly fee; you will be blessed soon.)God Bless you all in everything that you do......I'm sorry other Christians don't see it like I do.

Your Destiny
Happy New Year! It's important to let God be in your life. He has the plan...the only plan. It's up to you to be in HIS court and get the plan. You cannot let your pride and your own plan get in the way of your destiny.
In Jeremiah 13; 1-11 The Lord speaks of how He will ruin the pride of Judah and Jerusalem in the same way a linen belt is ruined from being hid in a rock for days. The wick people didn't listen to HIS words they followed their own hearts go after other gods to serve and worship them, but they turn out like the end result of the belt-useless.
It is important that I let go of 2006 in order to reap the rewards in 2007. Why...My time is coming soon where I will be called to "justify" what I have done on earth and believe me not everything has been great! Yet, in the past few years there are things that I have changed! Thank God I've been changed.
The bible tells me I must help my fellow man. This month, I'm starting with my fellow family...(I know that sounds funny) but for a long time we all have been developing in our own businesses without really developing each other. I love to help people...why not start with whom is closer to me and go from there? If I am encouraged by my family and they by me, then I can encourage the other people closest to me to succeed in life as well. If you are a praying person, a discerning saint read over the Gospel of John Chapter 5 verse 1-9 (the healing at the pool)...it's not just about healing from an ailment, it's about getting up, letting go. It's not just about getting help it's realizing that you can help yourself too....My pastor on Sunday (12/31 early service and then at New Year's Eve Service) preached about letting go. You can't sit there and harbor all the pain, all the misery, all the failures all the everything that happened in 2006...or any year (day for that matter); you can't and expect change in the future. My mother too, just on 1/4 mentioned the same thing...God has already set this plan in motion. When people see that you can help yourself...they will be ready and willing to help you.
Your destiny has already been planned for you...by our Father God....it's up to you to pick up the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) and do what's right so you don't miss out on the blessings that are planned for you and those around you.
